12 Pillars — The Foundation of Our Beliefs
A four-fold apostolic message that shapes our identity, faith, and way of life
Our Foundation
We believe God's intent for His children on the earth is not a mediocre life but life at the top. (Gen. 1:26-28, Deut. 28:1-2, 13, John 10:10). (Genesis 1:26–28; Deuteronomy 28:1–2, 13; John 10:10). And for that purpose, God has intended to equip us (His church) to realize His dominion mandate. But God never do anything on earth without His word. (John 1:1-5). His Word determines what we believe. (Rom. 10:14-17). (John 1:1–5). So, what we believe as a church is found in the apostolic message given to us. (Acts. 2:42, Eph. 3:2-11). (Romans 10:14–17) Our church movement has the mandate to preach and teach what we called the four-fold messages. Each of the message has three core emphasis which we called “pillars” according to Exodus 13:21-22 and 1 Tim. 3:15. And hence the “12 Pillars”. (Acts 2:42; Ephesians 3:2–11)
Every month by the guidance of the Holy Spirit we focus on one of the 12 pillars.
Here are the breakdown of the four-fold apostolic message:
1. The Message of the Word of Grace - Acts 20:20, 24-28, 32
The purpose of the message of the Word of grace is to reveal and guide each believer into the reality of God's original intent for man. (Gen. 1:26-28, Matt. 6:10). However, a person must be born again through Christ in order to gain access to God's abundant and glorious life. (John 3:6-8, John 10:10)
Predestination - Ephesians 2:8–10; Romans 8:28–30; Jeremiah 29:11; John 10:10
Predestination in our context and application is about God's plan for man's glory, honor and dignity through redemption. Therefore, the pillar of predestination answers the serious and important questions of life: Who am I? (Identity), Why am I here? (Purpose/vision/mission), What am I capable of doing? (Potential/ability), What is ahead of me? (Future), What are the rules and standards? (Principles/Word of God), Who is behind the standards? (God/Creator). This message is to teach and help believers to discover their “wealthy place” in life and become fully who they were born to be.
Blessings - Acts 20:32; Genesis 1:26–28; Ephesians 1:3–11; Ephesians 2:3–13
Through redemption we are restored to the original blessing of God — the root to flourishing in all aspects of life without any limitation even though there may be challenges. The realm of the blessing is the “covenants of promises” in the Scriptures. Covenants place the responsibility of faith on a believer to release the power thereof. With the blessing all curses can be broken and restricted.
Dominion - Genesis 1:26–28; Deuteronomy 28:1–2, 13; Matthew 5:13–14; Romans 5:17; Revelation 5:9–12; Proverbs 4:18
Dominion is the purpose for creation of man. Success, influence, significance and always being at the top! For this purpose, redemption has made available to the believer the kingdom virtues: gift of righteousness, power, wisdom, riches, strength (health and vitality), honor, glory and blessings. By the virtue of redemption every believer is a “light” to the world having the capacity of a “city” to become a globally renown venture thereby manifesting the true and practical nature of the Kingdom of God in all sectors of life and society. Moreover, as children of God, we are “problem solvers”. So, we must develop our God given potential, to provide solution and become very successful and significant in our various callings, careers and professions.
2. The Message of the Word of Faith - Romans 10:8–17
Life in the Kingdom of God is lived by faith. The purpose of the message of faith is to bring the believer into the realms of breakthrough and exploits. The emphasis here is on the following three pillars of truth:
Faith - Romans 1:17; 2 Corinthians 5:7; Mark 9:23; Hebrews 10:38; 1 John 5:4; Romans 4:17–21; Hebrews 11:1–33
Faith is the realm of all possibilities. And it's the only way the believer is called to life. Everything that is possible to God, is possible to man by active faith. That is through faith, the believer connects to the possibilities of the Almighty God to do great things. Faith is the ability that draws on the power and wisdom of God to engage the supernatural in real life.
Prayer - Mark 11:23–24; Jeremiah 33:3; James 5:16; Philippians 4:4–7; Hebrews 4:16; 1 Thessalonians 5:18; 1 Timothy 2:1–4
Effectual Prayer is a necessity to engage God on earth. The believer is empowered at the altar of prayer to overcome every “mountain”. We therefore lay emphasis on prayer, joyful praise with thanksgiving to God.
Responsibility - Luke 12:48; Ephesians 2:12–13; Acts 3:25; Galatians 4:1–2; Luke 13:6–9; Galatians 6:4–5; Hebrews 6:1–5; James 2:17–20
Redemption through Christ has brought us into the covenants of God. However, covenant as a divine agreement places a responsibility on every believer to fulfill its terms and demands to enjoy the benefits. By responsibility, we mean developing the moral character and discipline to do what is required and demanded. Faith is a relationship with God. And in any relationship, everyone has a part to play.
3. The Message of the Word of Supernatural Life - John 3:8; Psalm 82:6; Romans 8:19–21
The supernatural is the actual realm of life of the believer. As fish cannot live without the medium of water, so the believer cannot do without the supernatural. The emphasis are the following three pillars of truth:
Word - John 1:1–5; John 10:35; 1 John 1:1–2; Psalm 118:89–98; Joshua 1:8; Psalm 1:1–3; Hosea 4:6; 2 Timothy 3:15–17; Jeremiah 3:15–16
The Word of God is the source and “seed” of the supernatural. And therefore, we believe the Bible is the Word of God and must be given the preeminence in all that concerns life. Every innovator or manufacturer has a manual for their products. God is the Creator of man and life, so He gave the Bible as the Manual for life. Therefore, we believe there is no true success without the right knowledge and understanding of how to apply the Word of God to life. The teaching of the Word, hence, is very paramount to our existence as a church and individuals.
Holy Spirit - Acts 1:8; Isaiah 11:2–3; John 16:12–13
The Holy Spirit is the Third person of the Holy Trinity. He is the “Executive Director” of all affairs of the Kingdom of God on the earth. The Holy Spirit is the key to the supernatural. He is the custodian of the supernatural power and wisdom of God and supplies the believer with the power and wisdom to do exploits. We believe therefore, without the active partnership with the Holy Spirit no one will be able to fulfill their God given mission on earth successfully.
Wisdom - Proverbs 3:13–18; Proverbs 4:7; Proverbs 8:10–19; Ephesians 3:10–11; Matthew 7:24
Supernatural life is not possible without accessing the wisdom of God. The creative realm of God is manifested by accessing His wisdom. Moreover, God's intent for the Church is to reign on the earth. And this is possible only by the application of God's wisdom. That is why we believe and teach the necessity of accessing and applying God's wisdom to all facets of life.
4. The Message of the Word of Prosperity - 2 Corinthians 8:9; 3 John 2
The purpose of the message of the word of prosperity is to teach and guide the believer into prosperous living: healing, health, covenant wealth and flourishing relationships. We believe God's major end time agenda is raising “giants” – very successful people, who must be healthy and have financial wealth. Because without big money wisdom has no respect. (Eccles. 9:16). In this regard we will be emphasizing the following three pillars of truth:
Wealth - Deuteronomy 8:17–18; 3 John 2; 2 Corinthians 8:9; 2 Corinthians 9:8–11; Proverbs 10:22
Redemption has brought the believer into the realms of riches without sorrow. God gives power to get wealth — the power to labour diligently and create the channels for wealth to flow. Through understanding and application of the covenant, individual believers can access financial success and wealth.
Healing - Psalm 102:3; Psalm 106:20; Matthew 4:23–24; Matthew 8:17; 1 Peter 2:24; Romans 8:11
Redemption makes available healing, health, vitality and longevity to anyone who believes in Christ. By the proper understanding and practicing of the truth, the believer can dominate over diseases and sickness through Christ.
Relationship - Genesis 2:18; Matthew 18:19–20; Ecclesiastes 4:9–12
“It is not good for a man to be alone” says God, the Creator. God instituted relationship for procreation and success in life. Marriage between man and woman is God's order to create a family. So, we must know God's standards and principles to enjoy happy and successful family and marriage life.
